This USB HD-tuner works great. The picture quality is fantastic and it was very easy to install. You will get token choppy performance until you download the new drivers (takes 2 minutes to download).Pros+ Easy to install+ Easy to use+ AffordableCons- You need to download the new drivers in order to get maximum performance- Minor bugs here and there even with new drivers. For the price you simply can't beat getting this tuner for your PC.
They suggested I switch to Pinnacle. YES. I ordered the Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 12 software and Pinnacle PCTV HD Mini Stick. BRILLIANT.). Well that got my attention. I came home and started researching Pinnacle and decided to give it a try. On a recent visit to Atlanta Falcon's Training camps, I met the technical crew from their video department. (which means I don't have to have the program running to record television.I schedule a daily recording and the Pinnacle PCTV HD Mini Stick automatically records my shows and stores them in my designated hard drive for later viewing or editing.
And oh yeah, the price--AMAZINGLY AFFORDABLE. Plus, this software captures my daily HD broadcast and does it even while the program is closed. (Thank you for fair pricing Pinnacle because times are tight). The Pinnacle PCTV HD Mini Stick was another dream come true. "Pinnacle is the standard in the NFL" they said. I was completely set up in less than 5 minutes.Another wonderful feature of the Pinnacle PCTV HD Mini Stick: I am time shifting directly from my computer all my favorite television shows.
Both work in unison to provide effortless video editing and handled our HD shows perfectly. Imagine an HD plug in play/record mini stick that captures full HD programming off antenna or cable and plugs directly into your USB port. Yes, I can pause, rewind live television and all without a monthly subscription service fee. Pinnacle, why didn't I discover you sooner.

Did not work with the software shipped with the stick. After I downloaded new software it worked poorly for six days then died. I returned the stick for a refund.
